I previously posted about an opportunity to get an NFHS network subscription at about 1/2 price. For our school to be able to get the offer, we need a minimum of 50 subscribers. So far we have 20. VH VB hosts Hills-Beaver Creek tonight in Viborg. "C" match starting at 5:15. We will go with a rolling schedule for JV and varsity after the C match. The matches will be livestreamed on the NFHS Network. Go Cougars!

The JH FB game that was to be played at Howard on Monday, Sept. 27th has been moved to Friday, Sept. 24th. Kickoff is now set for 4:30pm. The game will be played before the varsity game that night.

Athletic activities for the upcoming week 8/30 - 9/6: JH FB @ Centerville at 4:00 PM on Monday; VB hosts Hills-Beaver Creek on Tuesday in Viborg starting with the C game at 5:15 PM; FB at Chester on Thursday night at 7:00 PM. Softball will not have any games on 9-6.

VH Athletic fans: it has come to our attention that the school could purchase a limited number of NFHS annual subscriptions at a reduced price. The regular price is $69.99 for one year. The price would be reduced by about 50% or more depending on the number of people interested. An NFHS subscription allows you to watch all home events, excluding football, away events if the school has NFHS. This includes some post-season games. The Elementary/High School location in Viborg will be utilizing a temporary access route. Please see the following image for further details: https://5il.co/xg2z. Please take your time dropping off and picking up students in Viborg. We will be using the temporary access route until construction is completed on the north side of the building.
Viborg-Hurley Open House at all schools from 5-7pm tonight. Buildings will be open to bring in student supplies and visit the classrooms. 5th Grade orientation & tour @ 6:15pm. First day of classes will be Tuesday, August 24th with Elementary/High School beginning at 8:15am and the Middle School @ 8:10am. Early dismissal on the 24th - Elementary/High School @ 1:30pm and Middle School @ 1:15pm. Full days of school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week.

Monday's scheduled JV FB game that was to be played at 4:00 PM in Hurley v. Garretson has been cancelled. There will not be a makeup date.
VH Football fans: parking around the field will be the same as last year. There are to be no vehicles on the west, east and north sides of the field. The south side of the field is reserved for handicap parking. NO golf carts/utv, etc. unless it is for a handicapped person. Thank you for your cooperation.
