Just a quick reminder, the elementary and high school are working together this month on a food drive to benefit our local food pantries. We invite you to bring your donation of a non-perishable food item with you when you come to the HS Christmas Concert this Thursday night and drop it off in our shopping cart by the front office in Viborg. Thank you for helping us help those in need in our communities.

The wrestling meet today in Beresford begins at 4:00 PM today. The time change is due to a larger number of entries than anticipated.
Fruit orders are in today and can be picked up in Viborg from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

Congratulations to our Elementary students and Mrs. DesEnfants on providing us with a wonderful start to our Christmas Season. The concert Monday night was amazing and we look forward to the high school, colony and middle school concerts in the upcoming weeks.
The Viborg-Hurley Schools will be opening at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 3. There will be no morning pre-school. Buses will run from both locations at approximately 9:45.
There will be a bake sale with lots of yummy Christmas goodies before (6:30) and after the Elementary Christmas Concert on Monday night December 3rd. (The Elementary Concert starts at 7:00 PM.) Proceeds of the Bake Sale will go to the junior class.

The Viborg-Hurley Schools will dismiss at 2:00 this afternoon due to icy roads. There will be no after school sports practices.
The wrestling team will be running a "Cougar Scrimmage" in the little gym in Hurley on Friday, November 30th at 6:00 PM. The public are welcome and encouraged to come and watch our wrestlers and cheer them on.
Winter Sports pictures have been moved to December 10th from 1:00-4:00 PM.

There will be a wrestling meeting on November 6th at 6:00 PM in Mr. Groenke's room at the high school. A parent is asked to attend with their 6th -12th grade wrestler if they plan on participating.
Looks like we will be getting a good taste of those colder temps this week. Please be sure your students have a hat, gloves and a coat when they leave for school in the mornings. All students need to be prepared whether it be for recess, on the bus, or driving to school.
