Reminder - As the end of the school year draws near, please rememember that we recycle dried out markers of any kind and also old crayons. These can be brought to the office. Also please remember to send your box tops & pop tabs in w/your students as well.
A sunny day has finally arrived for the soccer goals to be put to good use.
The soccer goals finally arrived, the elementary and high school student councils along with Mr. Knutson were able to get them put together last Friday. And boy the kids are excited. Today the sun is finally shining and they can really test them out. Thanks to the student councils, Mr. Knutson and to those individuals who donated. The students love them!
Dual Credit Information Night at Viborg-Hurley High School 6:00 PM tonight. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Tom Mann Track Meet scheduled for Saturday April 27th in Chester has been cancelled.
Muffins with Mom forms are being sent home with the elementary students this week. Please note that the date for Muffins with Mom is WEDNESDAY, May 8th (not Thursday, May 8th). Please RSVP for this event by Wednesday, May 1st. Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this event!
Viborg-Hurley Sports Physicals are scheduled for May 15th at both Viborg and Hurley buildings starting at 8:30 am. The forms are available online or you can pick one up at the school office. Physicals will not be done without all the appropriate parent/guardian signatures.
Viborg-Hurley buses will run only on highways until further notice. The west route will run along 291st. There will also be a pick up at Spring Valley Church. Kevin route will run on 452nd Ave and Highway 19 north and south. Davis Route will run on 461st Ave and 291st east of Viborg except where closed. He will also pick up in Davis. We have a limited amount of Circus coupons for next week's El Riad Shrine Circus in Sioux Falls. The coupons are for children 12 & under and the coupon needs to be exchanged for a general admission ticket. There is a local business on the back of the coupon showing you as "their guest". Please make sure you thank those businesses for their support. You can pick the coupons up at the Viborg office and once we are out of coupons, we are out.
The Viborg-Hurley Prom will be held at the VHHS gym in Viborg on Saturday, April 13th. Pictures will be at 4:00, Grand March is 6:00, Meal is at 7:00 and Dance will begin at 8:00.
No Friday School on Friday April 12th at Viborg-Hurley.
The school board meeting scheduled for tonight has been moved to Monday, April 15th.

Due to the incoming weather, the 2nd & 3rd graders will not be going on their field trip tomorrow. Will try and reschedule.. more info will be sent home with the students when a new date gets scheduled.

Good Morning, this is Peggy Petersen from Viborg-Hurley Schools. I am calling to let you know that our buses will run on highways and the Coffee road only today. Parents will need to pick up their children at the highway corners or pick up at the school after school tonight.
