Friday's Region 5B BBB games will be played at Freeman Public. I-W will play FA/Marion at 6:00 followed by V-H v. Centerville. Winners will advance to SoDak16 play on Tuesday, March 8.

Region 5B BBB tournament play will be in Hurley on Tuesday, March 1st. V-H will play Menno in the first game at 6:00pm followed by Centerville v. Gayville-Volin. Doors will open at 5:15pm. Livestream will be available on the NFHS Network. The winners will advance to play at 7:30pm on Friday at a site to be determined. The winning teams from the other half of the bracket will play at 6:00pm Friday. Go Cougars!
There will be a "welcome home" celebration for the girls wrestling team at 2:00pm Sunday, February 27th at the Elem/HS gym in Viborg. The team finished in 6th place in the one class Girls State Tournament. Awesome job girls and coaches! Individual place winners were: Gia M -2nd; Hope O -3rd; Lauren P- 6th; and Aubrey J-6th.

We will be having a send-off pep rally for the girls wrestling team on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd at 3:25pm in the gym at the Elem/HS in Viborg. Any community members wanting to attend are welcome! The team will be leaving for SF later on Wednesday to compete Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Go Cougars!!
