The Viborg-Hurley School District is taking applications for Full & Part-Time Paraprofessionals for the 2022-23 school year. The positions will be located in the Viborg location and include competitive pay with benefits. Athletes/parents of athletes for the 2022-23 school year: please mark your calendar for physical day and impact testing on Tuesday, Aug. 2nd. Athletic physicals are required each year for anyone playing jh or hs sports. Physicals need to be done prior to the start of practice. Pioneer Memorial will conduct the physicals from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the school at a cost of $30. Forms are available in the front office of the HS building or by contacting Mr. Schoenefeld. Impact testing for athletes will be conducted in the lunchroom with the following afternoon schedule: Juniors 1:30-2:30; Freshmen 2:30-3:30; 7th graders and any athletes not in grades 9 or 11 who have had a previously diagnosed concussion from 3:30-4:30. The V-H School will be selling the first two sets of varsity BBB uniforms that were worn from the 2010-11 season through the 2016-17 season. Any BBB players who were on the varsity teams during this period will have the first opportunity to purchase items. The cost will be $10 per item. Remaining uniforms will be made available to the public at a later date. Former players from this period who are interested should contact Coach Schoenefeld via email: galen.schoenefeld@k12.sd.us
Congratulations to V-H golfers Peyton Hansen and Reiley Murray and Coaches Hauger and Christeson! Peyton and Reiley qualified for the State B Golf Meet to be held in Rapid City on June 6-7.
The State Track Meet starts Thursday at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls and continues through Saturday. The following individuals have qualified: Luke Campbell in the 110 and 300 hurdles; Jacobs Graves in the 100 m dash; Wyatt Huber in the 100 m dash; George Johnson in the 100 and 200 m dashes; Haley Nelson in the high jump; and Chance Schoellerman in the 400 m dash. The following boys relay teams have qualified: 4 x 100; 4 x 200 and 4 x 400. Go Cougars!
Cougar Golf is at the Region 3B Golf Meet at the Central Valley Golf Course in Hartford today. The meet starts at 9:00am. Go Cougars!

High school summer school and credit recovery will begin on May 31st, contact Mr. Jensen or Mrs. Hybertson if you have questions. Summer school hours will run 8:00am-12:00pm M-Thurs.
Driver's Education classes will begin on May 31st @ 8:00am in Viborg. Classes will run May 31-June 3rd from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Students need to bring a sack lunch.
