We are still looking for people to help out at the scorer's table for home high school basketball games. Specifically, one person for jv scorebook and one person for help with the score clock for at least some girls' games. We will be happy to train you. These are paid positions and you get in free to the games. If you are willing and able to help out with either of these duties please talk to Mr. Schoenefeld asap. Sporting events are a learning opportunity for students beyond the classroom and they don't take place without people willing to work at the scorer's table, officiate, line judge, chain gang, coach, work concessions, take tickets, etc.
If there is anyone, especially someone with some knowledge of wrestling, who would be willing to help out at the scorer's table for home wrestling matches, please contact Mr. Schoenefeld asap.

South Dakota Educators Rising is an organization to encourage high school students to pursue a career in education. Think of it as "FFA for future teachers." Viborg-Hurley Educators Rising members will be competing at the state convention in February in categories related to teaching, such as lesson plan development, writing and illustrating children's books, and creating learning materials. Region 4B VB pairings have been announced. Viborg-Hurley will play at Gayville against G-V on Tuesday, Oct. 31. More details will be announced later. The winner will play on Thursday night Nov. 2 against the winner of Freeman/Scotland.
