As the 2nd quarter comes to a close, all Middle School students are conducting engineering challenges as an extension of the unit studied. 8th grade has engineered a mousetrap car after learning the basics of friction and force. 7th grade is exploring the nervous system through a reaction time lab. 6th grade has built and tested recyclable roller coasters after studying potential & kinetic energy. The 5th grade has built snow globe using paper products after studying the spheres of Earth; biosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere.
