On March 4th, Viborg-Hurley JH students attended the Cornbelt Conference Oral Interpretation Contest in Freeman. A total of six schools from the conference attended the competition. Each school is able to send one 7th grader and one 8th grader per category: oratory, poetry, serious, and humorous. Syndil Radio competed in the serious category and received an superior rating. Madelyn Feiock competed in the poetry category and also received a superior rating. Brinlee Smith competed the humorous category and received an excellent rating. Congratulations to the girls and Mrs. Smith for a job well done.
